The collection of the Técnico Library (BIST) includes books, journals, and other materials related to the various fields of knowledge associated with the activities of Instituto Superior Técnico.

This collection has been developed through the acquisition of new titles, digital subscriptions, donations, and the recovery of old scientific archives.

The available resources consist of both print and electronic formats and are distributed across various platforms.

A large portion of the printed material can be searched through the Bibliographic Catalog, and its location is spread across the various Library locations.

The Digital Library provides access to different scientific databases, collections of electronic books and journals, and the IST Scientific Repository.
